The African Laser Atomic, Molecular and Optical Sciences Network (LAM Network), The Edward Bouchet Abdus Salam Institute (EBASI), The National Society of Black Physicists (NSBP) in collaboration with the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the Laboratory Atomes Lasers at the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (UCAD) will organize an International Conference on Optics and Lasers in Science and Technology for Sustainable Development, which will be held at the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (SENEGAL) from 9 to 14 November 2009.
