The LAM Network is sponsored by The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), the Swedish international Development Agency (SIDA) and the International Program in Physical Sciences (IPPS). In addition LAM meetings ( Schools, Workshops ) in Africa are supported by governments and local authorities in  the hosting countries.
